If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the zany, banana-fueled world of the Minions, now’s your chance. Minion Land has officially landed at Universal Studios Singapore, opening its doors on 14 February with an explosion of mischievous fun, quirky attractions, and Minion-themed eats.
This brand-new zone, exclusive to Singapore, is split into three themed areas: Minion Marketplace, Gru’s Neighborhood, and Super Silly Fun Land. Whether you’re here for the thrills, the food, or just to stock up on all things Minion, there’s plenty to keep you grinning.
Shop, Snack & Go Bananas at Minion Marketplace
The Minion Marketplace is a treasure trove for fans of these little yellow troublemakers. From plush toys and apparel to themed sweets and quirky souvenirs, this is where you stock up on Minion madness. Stop by Sweet Surrender for adorable Minion-inspired confections and keepsakes, browse the Pop Store for fashion with a Minion twist, or hit up the Fun Store for accessories and toys to take home.
Chaos and Mayhem in Gru’s Neighborhood
Over in Gru’s Neighborhood, guests can come face-to-face with the Despicable Me crew—including Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith, and Agnes. But the real highlight? Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a wild, unpredictable ride through Gru’s secret laboratory where—plot twist—you just might turn into a Minion yourself!
If that’s not enough, the Minions take over the streets multiple times a day in the Minute of Minion Mayhem show, bringing music, antics, and plenty of photo ops with your favorite characters.
Super Silly Fun Land: A Carnival of Minion Mischief
The fun cranks up another notch at Super Silly Fun Land, a seaside carnival straight out of the Despicable Me universe. Hop on the Buggie Boogie carousel, soar through the air on Silly Swirly, or put your skills to the test at Space Killer, a booth inspired by the iconic arcade game. If you’re lucky, you might even score a prize at Ba-Na-Na CaBaNa, where flipping bananas (yes, really) could win you Minion-approved rewards.
All that excitement work up an appetite? Super Hungry Food Stand is dishing out movie-inspired eats, from Unlucky Ducky Creamy Chicken Stew to Stuart’s Japanese Curry Karaage. And for the ultimate themed snack, swing by Pop-A-Nana for some Minion-flavored popcorn goodness.
Getting In on the Minion Madness
